Bayona, a New Orleans Top Restaurant, is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, as well servers and line cooks. We pride ourselves on being a tight knit family of unique, diverse, food and wine loving individuals. Our cuisine is inspired by the South and dishes from around the World. As well, our wine list is broad and designed for any dining experience.
Assistant Manager: Our Assistant GM should have several years of Service Industry experience, including managing a team of Hosts, Servers, and Bartenders in a fast paced fine dining environment. A sufficient amount of Wine knowledge is required for this position, including being comfortable describing all our menus to staff and guests. History with Ordering, Inventory, and guest relations are mandatory. Pay is negotiable based on experience.
Server: Bayona is team service oriented. Front and Back Servers split tips 50/50. Previous service preferred, however we are willing to hire to train motivated individuals.
Line Cooks: Our cooks work as part of the team to produce Susan Spicers Signature menu items as well as daily changing dishes, under the direction of Chef Candis Koerner. We are searching for talented individuals that thrive in a fast-paced fine dining environment. Prepping, cooking and seasoning all food according to the recipes while maintaining a clean station and positive attitude. Please have prior experience in a similar setting.
Server Assistant: Bayona’s FOH is team service oriented. Our server assistant position consists of helping our servers run our floor smoothly throughout the evening, water & bread service, polishing, etc. Previous experience preferred, however we are willing to train positive, motivated individuals.
