PRIVATE EVENTS
Bayona’s “Wine Room” is the perfect place to host an intimate private party for a minimum of 16 or a maximum of 30 guests. The room is offered for private dinner functions Monday through Thursday at either 6:00 or 8:00pm or for lunch Wednesday through Saturday. Our private party menus contain a sampling of Chef Spicer’s signature dishes and can be paired with wine choices by our knowledgeable wine staff.

Reservations for private events may be made up to a year in advance, so feel free to plan ahead for your next special event.

First Course: Crawfish Phyllo with Tahini Preserved Lime Sauce

Second Course: Cream of Garlic Soup or Soup of the Day, Bayona Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette Caesar Salad

 Main Courses: Sautéed Salmon with Choucroute and Gewurtztraminer Sauce,Peppered Lamb Loin with Herbed Goat Cheese and Zinfandel Sauce ,Grilled Hanger Steak with Mushrooms and Bordelaise ,Seared Scallops with Asparugus, Mushroom and Herbed Lemon Butter

Desserts: Chef Selections (2 dessert options in addition to housemade ice cream or sorbet)

Bayona will do its best to accommodate any dietary restrictions.

Beverages: Open Bar (alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages) and pre-selected wines (recommended for parties 16-30) are charged on consumption basis. A Sommelier is available to assist all parties in making wine selections.

Set Up: The “Wine Room”, Bayona’s private party room can accommodate a maximum of 30 guests seated at 3 round tables of 10. 10 guests is the maximum we can seat at one table at any time. Parties of 15 can only be guaranteed private if volume of regular reservations permits, with a $500 room fee. The Wine Room is a beautiful, intimate room with exposed wine cages and vaulted ceilings, but it does have a few limitations: Please note that the wine room is not wheelchair accessible and does not have audio/visual capabilities.

Payment: One credit card per table maximum. No individual checks.

Estimated total Cost: $58 per person plus hors d’ oeuvres, beverages, 9.75% tax and 20% gratuity

Confirmation / Cancellation Policy: Parties must confirm number of guest 24 hours prior to the event. If party is smaller than confirmed number client will be charged $25 per person for the difference. Parties have 48 hours to cancel the entire event.

THE “BUYOUT”

If your special party ranges from 31 to 90 guests you may opt for our “Chef Susan Spicer Buyout”! Delight your guests with the romantic and historic creole cottage and courtyard which Bayona has called home for over 20 years. Chef Spicer will create a four-course menu to highlight your favorite ingredients and satisfy your wishes. A typical event would start with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in our courtyard followed by a memorable dinner paired with premium wines with each course. Perhaps you will choose to end the evening with a dessert buffet with appropriate liquors. There are many options available and Regina Keever will be happy to discuss them with you!
