BAYONA was opened in 1990 by Regina Keever and Susan Spicer in a 200-year-old Creole cottage in the heart of the romantic French Quarter with the vision of providing fine dining in a comfortable, casual setting.
Bayona soon earned national attention and has been featured in numerous publications: Food and Wine, Gourmet, Food Arts, Bon Appetit,Travel and Leisure, Restaurant Business, Elle, Gault et Millau’s Best of New Orleans, New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Atlanta Constitution, Conde Nast Traveler, Departure, and Food & Wine, to name a few. Bayona has also received many excellent local reviews, and Susan has made many television guest appearances.
